Cirrhosis, Macronodular Post Necrotic (M0311)

A slice of liver is mounted. The external surface is coarsely nodular, some of the nodules being 1 cm or larger. The cut surface also reveals a macronodular pattern, the nodules being of varying size, but generally larger than that seen in the micronodular type. The pallor is due to fatty change.
